It's the year 2000 and you've just entered the flashiest center of gambling and dirty dealings; welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada. The melodious tones of G, C, and E assault your ears every single time you walk into a casino, just before you spend your life savings on a game you can't possibly win. But that's the appeal, now isn't it? Everyone comes to Vegas to lose. But I bet you never expected to lose your life...did you? And it wasn't because you owed a mobster big money, no, nothing that simple. May we introduce you to the biggest scandal this country has ever known. A something that wiped out the entire population of Nevada in one fell swoop.

Too bad the government has wrapped every file on the 'incident' in red tape and sealed it away in the back of their records, under so much protection that not even a fly can land on the file without being burnt alive. Pretty serious business, if you ask me.

Flash forward to the year 2200 and Las Vegas is once again flourishing in all it's shady glory. But something's rotten in the city of Nevada. There are people that claim to see things, apparitions, that are warning them. Or at least they think they're being warned...odd how none of these 'spirits' talk to the humans that claim to see them. Affectionately, they call themselves 'The Seers'. And, perhaps not so affectionately, they call those that can't; 'The Blind'. Something weird is happening in Las Vegas. Some people seem to just be...disappearing, no traces, no warnings; just vanishing like they never existed.
