There are a million different ways that people can see Franz as being. Some people see the arrogance and leave it at that, other people see just past that and realize that he's not the worst guy on the face of the earth, and then there are the people that know that he's so much more than what the rest of the world happens to see. Franz isn't the type of guy that's willing to put everything about himself out on the table in front of the world. He's just not trusting enough for the entire world to know each detail of his being. It isn't that he's all that secretive or anything like that, he just doesn't see why the entire world needed to know what was going on in his mind at all times of the day.
On the outside most people actually seem to really like Franz. He's nice to people and flirts with basically everybody. In general he's just sort of there not really wanting to push any buttons without due reason. He's nice to people he doesn't know simply because he doesn't know them. That doesn't mean that he's a nice guy overall. They just see what he lets them to see. Basically he's nice, but he's not one to talk about himself all that much with people he's just met.
Once you start getting to know him you get to see exactly how great he thinks that he is. In his mind there is nobody that's all that amazing except for him. Honestly there are times that he thinks he's god's gift to the world. Ask him and he'll tell you that he could get anybody that he wanted in bed, though that doesn't mean he's actually planning on doing so. As great as he thinks he is, he doesn't really go around trying to get into bed with everybody he sees. While he doesn't date that much, he prefers flings to one night stands and he likes dating in opened relationships because the idea of being completely tied down makes him rather uneasy in truth. In a nutshell though he does think that he's great and he isn't afraid to hide that from the rest of the world.
There is a lot more to the boy than arrogance and issues dating though. he's one of those guys that doesn't really seem to live in reality. It isn't that he's childish or anything like that, but he refuses to believe anything that is impossible is actually impossible. In general he's just one of those guys that ikes to dream as much as possible because he believes that without dreams nobody would do anything at all. Along with that he can be a really sweet guy over all. Just because he thinks he's something great doesn't mean that he can't care about people. Franz cares about a lot of people he just doesn't show it like the rest of the world does. He's the type of guy that does little things like buy his friends snacks or just sit with them and watch movies if they're sad. He doesn't see a reason to ever do anything incredibly obvious in an attempt to try to get noticed for doing anything nice. As much as he likes to believe he's sexy, he doesn't do a lot to try to get attention other than well, dress the way he does. He's the kind of guy that would rather be recognized for how he looks as opposed to what he does. Honestly it isn't really something that's all that common for people, but in the end he had a bit of a reputation that he feels letting people see him doing something good just doesn't work out. Being in a hardcore band he was supposed to be a complete bad ass.
When it comes to drugs and things like that the male really doesn't bat an eyes at it. He'll basically drink, swallow, inhale, or shoot up with anything that's handed to him because he loves the feeling. He's a partier and he likes it that way. Hell, he'll do anything to make him fit in with the rest of the crowd in the end. He's not a complete and total follower, but he will jump in with the rest of the crowd to a certain extent. One of the reasons he likes parties is because he really just likes the idea of getting girls or even boys interested in him. While he doesn't date he loves being close to somebody that isn't his friend and he gets that at parties.
Honestly to know Franz is not to know him. It depends how much you actually know him and it depends on how much he wants you to see. The boy isn't exactly complex, but he's not the easiest book to find out. He lets people see what he wants them to see and he really just lives his life as best as he can because that's all he can really do. » LIKES; • weed • acid • parties • beer • bars • new guitars • making fun of cheesy movies • skate boarding • new clothes • hotel rooms • dogs • late nights • late mornings • colorful cereal • hot showers • hot girls • cute boys • fans • taking pictures of people • being in pictures • porn • honey mustard. » DISLIKES; • heights • falling • bruises • chocolate • commercials • fruits • bright colors • being on the bus for weeks • feeling unclean • overly obsessed video gamers • stalkers • overused sayings • religion • school • rational thought • crowded movie theaters • debates. » OTHER?;

» PAST;
As most children after the twentieth century (even before that at times) story begin, Franz's begins the same way. His parents were living in germany and were bound to eventually meet. It was when they were both twenty-five that they met and fell in love. They dated for three years before anything became official between the two of them. During that time they broke up a few times and had some doubts, but in the end they were always going to end up together once more, so finally Erich proposed to the woman that he believed to be the love of his life and the rest of it was history. They were married for two years trying to have a child when they finally found themselves with baby. Nine months of planning and being as careful as possibly so that they could be sure that they were going to actually have the child and than Franz was born. The two of them tried a few times after that to conceive again, but it never worked and finally they gave up on it all finding themselves happy with just having one child and Franz probably wouldn't have been able to deal with having any siblings to share attention with.
At the age of three Franz's family decided that it was time for them to get out of Germany. They got their green cards and were soon living in Seattle where german accepts were a bit out of the ordinary, but they survived. At home they usually spoke german, but they were sure to keep up on english as well so that Franz wouldn't end up too confused by the time he started school. By the end of his third year of school Franz was actually much more versed in english than his parents and usually took care of talking on the phone to people that weren't related to them or friends of his parents. Franz's german accent was still there, but not as much as his parents'. Now he still does have a bit of an accent kept from the summer and winter visits back home, but you really can't tell unless you're really paying attention to what he's saying.
In middle school he was always off listening to his music and watching other guys in his grade start to date. He'd had one sort of girlfriend, but that didn't work out because she decided she'd rather date the kid that played the drums in the school band. It was than that he decided that it was time for him to learn an instrument. His parents' bought him a guitar and he was off at lessons. At first he hated it because he wasn't just automatically amazing at playing, but he stuck with it and soon enough everything was becoming easier. It was in seventh grade that he started with his first band. It lasted all of about six months and they wrote one cheesy love song. Really it was funny and if you ask Franz about it now he'll simply laugh about the entire thing, but it did give him a taste of the life that he decided would be perfect for him.
It was one summer that he was in Germany that he ended up finding a girl that he thought was amazing. To say he was in love would be a lie, but it was the first time that he saw himself dating somebody seriously for a while. They were together for most of the summer, but near the end of it he needed a scape goat out of it all so he basically planned on her walking in on him fooling around with one of the guys in the village. It ended horribly and they never ended up speaking again.
High school was the first time that the idea of calling himself Frank arrived. Franz was a name that worked in Germany, but in Texas it was just strange and he always found himself getting compared to either the band or the archduke and neither really made him happy. It wasn't that he really hated the name, but he really needed something better and one of his friends was joking around and called him Frank and it just sort of stuck from there. So from the summer before ninth grade on he was known as Frank and Franz was only saved for close friends and anybody that he knew in Germany.
It was at the end of ninth grade that he got involved with the band. They wrote songs and stuff, but they spent most of their time telling the world that they were in a band and doing drugs and getting into parties. Of course they finally got their album out and have blown up since than. In general Franz is just sort of living his life. He's the type of guy that really just wanted to get girls and now he's getting as many as ever before. Of course at this point in time he's getting as many girls as he can handle. Actually, he has way more than he could possibly want.
High school was a great time for Franz. It wasn't that he was doing anything too much, but he was also just trying to work on getting as much as he could done with his life. Most of high school he was trying to get himself some good friends that he could trust as much as possible because well, he basically just wants to get himself a couple friends that will last him as long as possible. Most people actually find it weird that he likes his close friends as much as he really does. Honestly most of the time he's blowing them off or busy surrounded by fans and not able to talk to them, but he does love his friends and is glad that he has the ones that he does.
Now, well now he's on tour living a life that he thought would suit him perfectly and he couldn't be happier about it. Basically he just loves the fact that he's able to not grow up and that where he's performing the fact that his ears will always be stretched the way that they are isn't going to end up making him feel like he's made a huge mistake. Basically he's loving his life as much as he possibly can and he's ready to just take on the world. you're my e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g everywhere, everytime, everything.
Tattoos it wasn't a world that was completely new to August. It had been only about six months ago that he'd gotten his first one that being a piano on his left shoulder. It really hadn't been that much of a pain in all truth. It was just one of those things that he learned to live with and well, now he was thinking he was ready for yet another one. It had taken a month or so for him to figure out what he wanted, but he finally seemed to have figured it out. It was going to be a tattoo on his wrist. While for a while he'd thought about getting something about Harlee, he worried about that sort of thing. Getting something just for the girl you were dating was never a good idea because if it ended badly he'd end up regretting it everyday for the rest of his life. Of course the last thing he didn't want to happen was that anything broke the two of them up. Really he just wasn't entirely sure what he wanted for a while. Then, one day it had come to him. He'd been sitting around on the bus playing around with Toph's guitar randomly when he looked down at his left wrist and he knew what he wanted to get. It was so simple, but it would be really all that August needed to make him smile. A simple phrase written by who he believed to be the greatest song writers of all time i want to hold your hand in cursive curving around his arm.
It had taken some time for him to find a place that he was going to trust in the area that they were going to be in, but he finally did. The night before he'd called up Harlequinn and asked if she wanted to come. It seemed like ages since the two had last had a day together and in his mind nothing would be more awesome then getting a tattoo and then taking the girl that he loved out to dinner. Sure it would be an expensive day, but he knew that it was going to be well worth him not being able to buy new shampoo for another week. There was still some left in the bottle that was sitting in the shower right now anyway and being a bit greasy was something that he knew he'd be able to live with. When the girl had agreed he grinned widely and then headed off to go talk to somebody about his idea to make sure it didn't sound like he was going to end up making a complete fool of himself.
The morning had come just as he had expected it to and well, now he was more then just a little bit thrilled about the day that lay ahead. He'd told Harlee that he'd meet her at her bus around noon. It was a good time in August's mind. Sure he'd be up for a couple of hours by that point in time, but he wanted to give his girlfriend as much time as she'd want to get ready. He arrived at the girl's bus with his lavender sweatshirt on and a pair of jeans. The hood was pulled up over his brown locks and he looked around a bit. There were people around and he waved at those that he knew letting a small smile spread over his face as he stretched his arms above his head. A pair of slightly large sunglasses were being held in his pocket as he looked around. Sure he wasn't incredibly famous, but he still liked to wear them and pretend that he was just that awesome. Plus, he could be a secret agent when he was wearing his glasses, he obviously couldn't when he wasn't wearing his sunglasses. He smiled as he stopped outside the door to the bus. He knocked once lightly. "Harlee bear! I've come for you!" he announced with the usual child-like grin gracing his features.
The walk over to the bus really had been as interesting as ever. August saw the familiar faces of the people he was growing closer to, but as always he saw a face of somebody that he didn't know. It always amazed him just how many people seemed to be on this tour. On his way he heard the usual rumors. Something about one of the guys in What? I'm Not Gay being actually gay. Another about tension between the same band. There was one about himself sleeping with Topher, which was an event that hadn't happened for months, and well, then there was one he was ignoring. He heard something about Harlee sharing a hotel room with Heath. There was no denying that August and Heath didn't get along. They were both in love with the same women and August hated the thought that Harlee was with him at all. He was bothered by all the guys, but none as much as the boy that was responsible for the bruise that he'd sported for a week or so back at the beginning of the tour. Other then that though the boy just brought the worst out in August. For the boy that never got angry to actually hit somebody was pretty bad and Heath had provoked him to that point. That day was a day that August looked back upon in shame. He wasn't supposed to lose his temper. He was supposed to be the guy that helped hold other people together rather then let other people tear him apart.
